Opioids & Drug Poisoning Crisis Gathering

The Alberta Opioids Task Force Stewards, in collaboration with the Health Co-Management Mental Health & Addictions Subcommittee, are hosting a gathering to unite delegates from all Alberta First Nations, alongside influential stakeholders such as Tribal Councils, Treaty Area Organizations, First Nations Treatment Centers, and government representatives at both federal and provincial levels.
The goal is to:
Collaboratively identify and develop responsive actions to the opioids and drug poisoning crisis in the Alberta region.
Strengthen existing relationships and establish new connections across communities, sectors and various levels of government.
Inform the development of engagement strategies and systems of accountability to better ensure the strategic organization of actors, resources, and relationships.
